David Attenborough narrates the story of Rodrigo Medellin, Mexico’s very own ‘Bat Man’.
Rodrigo’s favorite drink, Tequila, is at stake. The bat that pollinates the plant the liquor comes from is in trouble, and Rodrigo must track their migration to save them.

Working closely with the production team at Windfall Films I provided I.R Bradley PTZ Ballcam Cameras and I.R lights for filming the Bats in their natural environment.
The kit had to be completely stripped down, light enough to carry and powered by small portable generator and sometimes battery.
Images were recorded on Sound Devices PIX240i recorders and kit worked perfectly throughout the shoot. The production team were able to capture never before seen footage of these vampire bats giving birth.
