Case Study:

Michael McIntyre’s Big Show / Unexpected Star of The Show

Part of Michael McIntyre’s Big Show is a hidden camera section where an unsuspecting member of the public is stitched up by Michael live on stage.

Now in its 8th series this part of the show gets bigger and bigger and we work very closely with Hungry Bear producers and NEP to achieve something different each week.  Some weeks have involved multiple locations, live links from travelling vehicles and over 30 minicams.  In the run up to these shoots we provide full tech management, camera plans and liaise between all the relevant contractors and departments to ensure smooth running on the day.

Our hidden cameras cover the entire backstage area following the mark from when the ‘star’ arrives back stage, to the point where they somehow end up on stage with Michael in front of the audience.

We use up to 30 Toshiba IK-HD5 minicams, Pinhole cameras and PTZ cameras all fed back into the O.B truck provided by NEP.
